Tom Edgar announces 2020 season plans
Back on Track
Tom recently headed out on track at Silverstone to formally begin testing ahead of this year’s 2020 Ginetta Junior Championship. The season will return to Silverstone later in the year as part of the racing calendar.
Although still provisional, the calendar looks to continue in its previous format of supporting the British Touring Car Championship race schedule, with the exception of only one race. This is great news for Tom, and although it will be a busy season, it will certainly be a fantastic learning curve for him.
The season will begin at Donington Park on Friday 31st July. Each weekend will feature a free practice on the Friday, followed by a 20 minute qualifying session on the Saturday, concluding with two fifteen minute races on the Sunday.

Since our last update there has been a significant change to Tom’s season.In a very late and surprising move, Douglas Motorsport – the team Tom had originally signed up with – pulled out of the Ginetta Junior Championship leaving Tom and his supporting partners without a drive for the season.
Luckily, Total Control Racing had a seat available and were keen to have Tom fill it. Testing so far has gone well with the team and the times continue to tumble.
