Tom Edgar is Keeping Cool

Belfast based Refrigeration and Air Conditioning specialists BL this week announced its support of local rising star Tom Edgar.

Managing Director David Baillie has recognised Tom’s talents, and with Tom hailing from the same city, was keen to get involved in supporting the rising star’s progress. The announcement of the sponsorship comes just weeks after it was revealed that Tom would be moving on to Ginetta Juniors next season – the stopping ground for many successful professional racing drivers. The Ginetta series supports the British Touring Car Championship and affords sponsors and partners a fantastic platform for brand exposure. 

“It’s really encouraging that local businesses want to be involved in supporting my career,” Tom explained. “Racing is fun for me but I’m also ambitious about it as I hope that one day it will be my career. I’m working hard to make that dream a reality and businesses like BL showing their support really means a lot to me. I will do everything I can to do them – and my other sponsors – proud.” 

Tom will next be racing this weekend in Rounds 9 and 10 of the British Karting Championship at Wigan, where he currently sits 11th out of 54 competitors.
