Tom has completed the final stage of the Porsche Junior Programme competition. Competing for a comprehensive support package that includes £85,000 for two years towards a Carrera Cup campaign, Tom and his competitors completed interviews, fitness tests and the all important on-track shootout.
As part of the contest, Tom was interviewed by Louise Goodman from ITV’s coverage of the TOCA package. He also performed a full fitness test. The Porsche Junior Programme are looking for a well rounded candidate, so speed alone is not enough to win the place.
“I can’t thank Porsche enough for giving me the opportunity. It’s a prestigious brand and to have them recognise your talent is quite an honour.” Tom told Autosport Magazine.
The results of the shootout will be announced in the coming days.
