The second round of the GT4 European Championship takes place this weekend and Tom looks to continue his good form.
Tom:
After a fantastic start to the season at Monza, I was very happy with my performance and I’m more excited than ever to see what we can do as a team this year. A P2 and a P3 put me and Berkay 2nd in the championship and I’m hoping we can keep that momentum going heading into Round 2.
I’m at Paul Ricard this weekend, another iconic track that I am lucky enough to race at this season.
In this weekend’s two 1-hour races we are joined by GT4 Scandinavia, expanding the grid to a huge 56 entries. More cars on the grid is exciting but brings with it new challenges, there is now a greater amount of competition to qualify and race against. They will be joining us twice this season, here at Paul Ricard and again at the next round in Spa.
I’m really excited to race at Paul Ricard, I have tested there briefly but a race is an entirely different situation so I need to keep up and stay as competitive as possible. As usual I have been preparing using my simulator and I’m hoping we can keep our noses clean, play it smart and end up with a good result.
